Well, its nearly the end of wedding season now
Such a busy month. First Andy’s wedding down in the Isle of Wight, then Gedrim’s wedding. I’m singing at another wedding tomorrow (no-one I know, they are just hiring the choir I sing with and have asked for my Ave Maria solo), followed by Liz’s birthday party, and then rushing out to another wedding evening do for Sarah’s friend Al. Not that its been a bad thing to have been to so many lovely weddings this month. Just a tad expensive when they all come at once that is all. Very much looking forward to having two coins to rub together again.
Still thinking of a summer holiday to somewhere in September. No particular place in mind at the moment, we may wait and see how much we have saved up and where we can get that would be all inclusive (that way if we run out of cash / something comes up we still have all our drinks and food covered). To be honest I really don’t mind where we go this year. I’d just quite like to get away for a while. I’d just like some sun. If we end up in a culture rich foreign city, or on a quiet island with white sandy beaches, or even just in the south of England with a heat wave, I’d be happy. Just the ability to kick back, relax, lounge out in the sun or in the pool. Perhaps even take some books or the laptop and (as sad as it sounds) catch up on some of the extra personal projects I’ve been wanting to put time into but very rarely get the spare time to actually do.
Oh well… only another month and then we can start looking and planning
My birthday is coming up moderately soon as well. So I’m currently trying to arrange a meal with family the weekend after my birthday, and Sarah has been a sweetheart and organised a birthday meal out with my friends here in Birmingham on the actual day.
Very much looking forward to it now. Sar also gave me a random present / mini early birthday present a couple of days ago. A little FSM car ornament that is now stuck onto the back of the car. Looks good
