Had Chris Gedrim’s stag weekend last Friday – Sunday. Had a great time out in Liverpool, staying in the Jurys Inn and lots of food and drink. We went out for food at the Alma De Cuba (which served lovely food and cocktails), then off around Liverpool for drinks
There are a few pictures from the evening in the photos section of the website if you want to have a look. Everyone had a great time at a Clay Pigeon shooting centre, and a magnificent evening. Chris seemed to have a great time, most importantly, although everyone seemed to really love the evening. I was missing Sarah a little (yes, ok I know) but I did have a great time with the guys.
Chris would stop and dance for each street performer / busker he came across for a few minutes (the same street performer several times infact
), whilst Stuart got incrediably drunk quite early on before switching to water and sobering up for the evening. However during his peak he bumped off a lady in a bar only to go *boooooo* and spin off her like a ricochet.
Chris had several shots which just looked like someone came in his glass (beer with a Jegermeister bomb topped off with Baileys….yeah, now you get the image. The baileys curdled almost instantly). His brother also got him a cement mixer (Baileys and Lime) which they mixed at the bar (rather than in the mouth as it should be), so by the time it was back with Chris it was already half solid and jelly like :-S Yeah, hope you enjoyed that Chris
Glorious weather as well. Unfortunately its times like this I get the ‘I wish I was flying’ blues and really wish I had the spare money to complete my JAA PPL. However I have to admit, if I had the money laying around at the moment it would (and should) go into saving for a deposit for my own house.
Not that I would rather be flying than have my own house of course, just that I do miss flying, especially on sunny days.
